PURCHASING CLERK

A Purchasing Clerk is responsible for carrying out data entry duties & filling of records. To prepare Purchase Order (PO), custom documentation for any rejected shipment. . We are looking for a Purchasing Clerk who plays a key role in deals between the internal departments and external parties, acting as a Purchasing Clerk to convey how advancement can support the company’s needs.

Requirements/ Qualifications

  • Professional Certificate / Diploma or equivalent.
  • Work experience is not required.
  • Good analytical skills & problem-solving skills.
  • Technical knowledge in laboratory equipment solving skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word
  • Good verbal communication skill in English, BM and or Mandarin.

Responsibilities​

  • To keep in touch with vendors for request of quotation for packing material, indirect material & stationery.
  • To issue, fax & email Purchase Order (PO) to Vendors.
  • To follow up on orders to ensure the materials are shipped & delivered in the dates committed by the Vendors.
  • To expedites delayed orders & resolves issues with changes, returns, replacements & credit arrangements.
  • To coordinate with internal department to ensure that purchasing needs are met promptly & efficiently.
